The Bookish Dark
meep-im-lovely sent: On your recent post with the tea pot and your homework. Do you actually have tea in your teapot and cup while you do your homework? I ask, because I have two tea pot sets and I only use them when I have a tea party with a small group or a friend. I never thought of using it alone, because I didn't think anyone else did.

Yes.  The teapot in the photo is a “tea-for-one,” a little teapot that nestles into a teacup.  The pot holds about two cups of tea so it would only be good for one person anyway.  Or you would have to brew new pots like every five seconds and people would have to wait their tea turn.

I have two of these and also small regular teapot and I have used all of them on my own.  They’re good because they keep the tea hot while it’s not in my cup.  I have my own personal little sugar bowl and cow-shaped milk pitcher too.  When I have tea with friends we mostly use no teapot, just teabags in mugs, but I do have a larger teapot for more than one person.

If you feel using your teapot on your own, I say go for it.
