Hello friends,

What are your thoughts on watermarking photos? Do you watermark the photos you post online (specifically, to tumblr)? How do you feel about seeing watermarks on the photos you come across? Does you opinion differ when the watermark is a big transparent thing that disrupts the image, versus a small url or name in the corner? I’d love to hear your opinions :)

hungry-for-books said: Big watermarks covering the center of the photo are a huge turnoff and I generally avoid photos that look like that. Otherwise, watermarks don’t bother me. I think the rule of watermarks should be that they shouldn’t distract from the photo.
